Harry Elliss

Department of Chemistry

Harry graduated from the University of Bath with a Master’s in Chemistry in 2022, receiving the Buchanan prize for the joint best final year project in organic chemistry. As part of his degree, Harry completed a 13-month industrial placement at Pfizer, working as part of the Analytical Research and Development team.

 At CWBE, Harry’s project has two main focuses based around One Health: developing diagnostic indicators of community health using wastewater-based epidemiology and an assessment of the impact of pharmaceuticals on the aquatic environment, both using state-of-the-art mass spectrometry techniques.

 Outside of work, Harry enjoys playing cricket and football.
