Dalia has been using Wastewater-Based Epidemiology with advanced mass spectrometry techniques to detect and quantify PFAS in wastewater, allowing us to understand their prevalence across the UK and Europe. She has been developing a method to incorporate PFAS analysis into the research group’s workflow.

She graduated from the University of Bristol in 2024 with an MSci in Chemistry, working on amino acid derivatisation in the Organic Geochemistry Unit. In her free time, she enjoys baking and playing in local orchestras.
