Vacancy: Technical Specialist in Water Analysis

This role has responsibility for delivering technical support in the research group, working closely with two research associates delivering on the above projects, and ensuring that key deliverables are realised within the projects. This will include:

  • Support with delivery of sampling campaigns at integrated constructed wetlands for collection of water, sediment and plant samples.
  • Provision of general lab/fieldwork technical support within the project, including processing of wastewater (influent and effluent), solids (sludge, sediments, and plants), and river waters.
  • Support with processing mass spectrometry data.
  • Close collaboration with other members of staff in the centre, postdoctoral researchers and PhD students.

The Technical Specialist will join the Centre of Excellence in Water Based Early Warning Systems for Health Protection, encompassing both research and doctoral training. Training will be provided.
